APAR status

Error description

  • When building PL1 projects on AD the below error is reported:
Error [1073] : The metadata and 'after' files, for 'C:\IBM
AD\Mainframe Projects\SAMPLE\PL1\SAMPLE-PL1' file, are missing !

Problem summary

  • When the user performs a build on a PL1 source that contains
calls to procedure in the form of PROC_NAME PARAM1 (VALUE)
PARAM2(VALUE) an error occurs that prevents the PL1
Preprocessor to correctly parse the source file.

Problem conclusion

  • It was discovered that the grammar that parses the source file
had a lazy behavior in regard to the whitespace(s) between the
parameter name and the opened parentheses. The grammar was
modified so that the behavior is eager.
