Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM Db2 Query Monitor for z/OS * * users of component: * * - ISPF Client * * - Profiles * * - CQM Data Offload and Batch Reporting * * - CAE Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. CAE Server does not update * * RUN_STATE status for already * * outdated, non-existent, or inactive * * Db2s. * * * * 2. Incorrect values for sqlcode * * occurrences on SQLCODES perspective in * * Archive Connection. * * * * 3. View/Add/Update popup dialogs are * * not adapted to the size of the browser * * window in Profiles perspective. * * * * 4. The line focus can be lost after * * switching from "All" to "Monitored" * * view in Monitoring Agents perspective. * * * * 5. Unexpectable values of * * Exception/Alert CPU/Elapsed for * * New profile if dirty getmain is * * enabled. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF. * **************************************************************** 1. CAE Server displays information about previously discovered Db2s whether they currently exist or not. This information is stored in CAE Server and is never updated during discovery process meaning the user can see "outdated" Db2s on QM Subsystem Management panel. 2. Incorrect values are displayed for sqlcode occurrences column in Archive connection. They match sqlcode details column values even though sqlcode details value can be much more than sqlcode occurrences value. 3. Popup dialogs do not adapt to the size of the browser window if the browser window size is less than popup dialog size. Popup dialogs are in "cut" state without possibility to scroll. As a result, the user can't access some fields/checkboxes. 4. Pressing the "TAB" button several times to access the grid rows in Monitoring Agents perspective can lead to loss of focus after switching from "All" to "Monitored" view eventually preventing the user from accessing any row when pressing the "TAB" button. 5. Creating a completely new profile fills Exception CPU, Exception Elapsed, Alert CPU, Alert Elapsed fields with garbage if dirty getmain is enabled.
Problem conclusion
1. This behavior was fixed. CAE Server sets INACTIVE status for such Db2s and does not show them. 2. Incorrect values for sqlcode occurrences were fixed in Archive Connection. 3. Popup dialogs adapt to the browser window size and scrolling appears. 4. This behavior was fixed. The line focus is not lost. The user can access any row by pressing "TAB" button. 5. Exception CPU, Exception Elapsed, Alert CPU, Alert Elapsed fields for new profile are properly populated.
