the following error: "Syntax error: 'ELSE scope is unknown.'".

  • Build Client - while compiling PL/I files, the compiler throws
the following error: "Syntax error: 'ELSE scope is unknown.'".

Problem conclusion

  • The PL/I compiler was modified for a better handling of the
IF/ELSE statement, when the "DO/END" structure is not used to
define the body or scope of the statement.
