PH37436: MQ FOR SVRCONN TYPE CHANNELS, MESSAGE CSQX259E DOES NOT INCLUDE THE RESOLVED HOSTNAME IN THE 'CONN-ID' FIELD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CSQX259E message should also include the resolved hostname in
  the conn-id field on svrconn type channels following a
  connection timing out, as we do for sender-receiver type
  channels.

  The code that issues the CSQX259E message does not attempt to
  find the corresponding host name of an IP address before it is
  issued.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to include both the IP address and
  its corresponding host name in the conn-id field of message
  CSQX259E.
