Error description
During first usage of the jsbind file the ICM is copied and modified. The ICM is used for mapping between data to json or json to data. The ICM modification code makes an assumption that the modified ICM is either the same lenght or shorter than the original ICM. In this case the ICM becomes longer. Due to the ICM being longer there is now a possibility that it can be overlayed leading to the x3307 severe error. In the CICS logs you will see. DFHPI0002 REGNNAME A severe error (code X'3307') has occurred in module DFHPIJG. CICS Trace will show: PI 3307 PIJG *EXC* - FAILURE -TEMPLATE_MISMATCH The following error is received by application program: TASK,15:45:40;AEX9-3468643 JSON CREATION ERROR: FT-XXXX - FATAL ABEND IN PROGNAME Keyword(s): KIXREVxxx

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS Users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHPI0002 Severe error x'3307' in * * module DFHPIJG when performing * * DATATOJSON transform. * **************************************************************** During the first execution of an EXEC CICS TRANSFORM DATATOJSON command the ICM within the jsbind file is modified. This involves obtaining an area of storage the same size as the current ICM and performing this conversion on it. The modify in this case causes the ICM to be larger than the GETMAIN'd storage. All conversions will work correctly unless the storage outside of the GETMAIN area is modified by another task within the system. The next EXEC CICS TRANSFORM DATATOJSON command will cause a severe error x'3307' and the trace will show a TEMPLATE_MISMATCH error.
Problem conclusion
DFHPIJG and DFHPIJS have been corrected to ensure the correct size of storage is obtained for the ICM conversion, when performed as part of an EXEC CICS TRANSFORM command.
