PH36719: STATCHL PARAMETER IS USED FOR DEFINE CHANNEL SAMPLE IN SCSQPROC(CSQ4INYD) SAMPLE MEMBER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The SCSQPROC(CSQ4INYD) sample member in the DEFINE CHANNEL
  sample uses the STATCHL parameter for CHLTYPE( SVRCONN ),
  however STATCHL is not valid for SVRCONN connections.

  *                      because the STATCHL() was not a valid   *
  *                      parameter for a SVRCONN channel.        *

  Using the sample CSQ4INYD JCL to define a SVRCONN channel did
  not work because CSQ4INYD specified STATCHL() which is
  invalid for a SVRCONN channel. This resulted in a CSQM148I
  message, followed by a "CSQM090E" error.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQ4INYD has been updated to remove the invalid STATCHL
  parameter.
