Error description

  • When a cyclic call appears and the user performs a report for
Backward Callchain with a depth that includes the cyclic call
the report generated is empty.

Problem summary

  • When a cyclic call appears and the user performs a report for
Backward Callchain with a depth that includes the cyclic call
the report generated is empty.

Problem conclusion

  • In code there was a collection that holds all nodes and their
cildren. Based on this collection the report is generated. When
the cyclic call is reached the initial node where the call was
initiated was overriden loosing it's children. The fix prevents
the node to loose children in case it detects a cyclic call.
