PH36552: DFHSM0133 SHORT ON STORAGE ABOVE THE LINE IN EUDSA LONG RUNNING TASK USING EVENT PROCESSING REMARK PGCRSET

Error description

• You have a long running task that is using event
  processing to capture events.
  Over time, this task accumulates lots of TASK
  storage above the line- in the EUDSA.
  The storage is getmained by CICS, with remark PGCRSET,
  as part of EVENT_CAPTURE processing.
  There are many areas with eyecatcher EPDE associated
  with container name DFHEP.DESCRIPTOR
  and
  another area is associated with
  container name DFHEP.DATA.00001
  There is an error in DFHEPEV,  routine FREE_ALL_SET_STORAGE
  where it is not freeing this set storage, causing the
  short on storage.  This has been corrected in
  the CICS 5.6 base code.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Container storage is not being freed    *
  *                      until task termination.                 *
  ****************************************************************
  It is possible for CICS to go SOS because a long running
  transaction is using a lot of container storage. This storage
  is not being freed until the task terminates.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHPGCH has been changed to ensure the container storage is
  freed after it has been finished with.
