Error description

  • The customer is having problems downloading a particular member
    from the mainframe, which has a danish letter 'ae' (Unicode
    U+00C6) on its name;

Problem summary

  • This issue is created by the specific translation between
    Windows 1252 code page and host 00277 code page.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Our communication layer supports only one translation table.
    The fix consisted in creating a custom solution for the
    translation between these specific code pages. This fix is a
    custom solution, so it will not be included in the next
    releases.
