Error description

  • SDC2 abend occurs in IBM Db2 Recovery Expert when DB2Sort is
used due to the very large pre-sort optimization
parameter's value that specifies the number of records to sort.

The solution should allow IBM Db2 Recovery Expert to give an
adequate estimate of data to be sorted,
so memory exhaustion problems would be avoided.
