The customer experienced an OutOfMemoryError, and the analysis
    of
the heap dump shows that the primary driver of the heap
    exhaustion
was com.ibm.ws.xs objects. In particular, a ConcurrentHashMap is
occupying 2.4GB of the 3GB heap, and it's composed of
    com.ibm.ws.xs.xio.flowcontrol.server.impl.SlowClientEntry
    objects,
    some as large as 142MB.
Checking incoming references to the ConcurrentHashMap, shows
    references from a
    com.ibm.ws.xs.xio.flowcontrol.server.impl.Prober
    and a com.ibm.ws.xs.xio.flowcontrol.server.policies.MIMD.

Problem conclusion

  • WXS Prober code has been updated to fix the memory leak. The fix
    is available in 8.6.1.5 fix-pack.
