Error description
Application Discovery fix pack level - 5.1.0.7 + hotfix (<entry value="false" name="file.lock"/>) for graph db import During Make EDB project, the build progress stopped at 10.1%. The window popup shows error: JMCobol has stopped working. Make EDB project was hanging on previous day as well. In Windows event, there are following error events: Faulting application name: JMCobol.exe, version: 1.0.0.1, time stamp: 0x5ef48b42 Faulting application name: IBMApplicationDiscoveryBuildClient.exe, version: 6.9.1.0, time stamp: 0x5ef48ed7 We checked SQL Server connectivity from ADDI app server, and Test connection was successful.

Problem summary
This issue is related to the computing of the Cobol reference modification involving variables with large size. The fix consisted in an optimization of our computations when 'LENGTH OF variable' is used in reference modification parameters.
Problem conclusion
The fix is GA starting with 5.1.0.8 version
