Error description

• ABENDS0C4 IQCQMR30 at x'942' which causes IMS region to fail.
  QCF batch job doing BROWSE was running at the time of the S0C4.
  It was attempting to return an error code, but caused an abend
  instead.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABENDS0C4 IQCQMR30 at x'942' which      *

  *                      job doing BROWSE was running at the     *
  *                      time of the S0C4. It was attempting to  *
  *                      return an error code, but caused an     *
  *                      abend instead.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  An IMS 0C4 Abend was experienced due to a problem in QCF
  checking of the message length after encountering an error
  during processing of the second through the nth record of a
  multi-record message in the local queues.
  

Problem conclusion

• QCF has been changed to return an error code to the caller
  without ABEND in the IMS control region.
