PH32969: RESTP OR AREST DBET STATE NOT REMOVED AFTER POSTPONED ABORT UR RECOVERY

Error description

• DBET status RESTP or AREST not removed after the postponed abort
  URs are recovered if the UR first formatted a table spacemap
  page and then inserted into the data page before it became
  postponed abort.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * DBET status RESTP or AREST not                               *
  * removed from the table space                                 *
  * after a postponed abort                                      *
  * UR is recovered. This UR first                               *
  * formatted a table space map page and                         *
  * then inserted into a data page                               *
  * before it became postponed abort.                            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

  In a rare situation, a Db2 unit of recovery allocated
  a data space map page before it inserted into a data page,
  this UR later became postponed abort. During postponed
  abort recovery, Db2 failed to remove the Restart-pending
  (RESTP) or Advisory restart-pending (AREST) status from the
  table space after the postponed abort UR had been recovered.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 code has been changed to remove the Restart-pending
  (RESTP) or Advisory restart-pending (AREST) status from a
  table space after the postponed abort URs changing this table
  space are recovered.
