PH32539: MQ Z/OS: BUFFERPOOL AND PAGESET ID SET TO 0 IN SMF ACCOUNTING

APAR status

Error description

• In the MQ SMF Task Accounting data the queue has WQ records
  that contain information about the queues, however the
  bufferpool ID and pageset ID are often initially set to 0 and
  not updated until well after a number of WQ records have been
  cut.

  *                      incorrectly indicate that queues are    *
  *                      associated with pageset/bufferpool 0.   *

  While processing an MQPUT/MQGET an update was needed to the
  queue object on pageset 0. When this update is made
  synchronously, an error resulted in the collection of SMF
  data for the MQI call being incorrectly recorded against
  pageset 0 and it's associated bufferpool, rather than the
  pageset/bufferpool used by the queue.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQP2GET has been changed to record the SMF data against the
  correct pageset/bufferpool.
