APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The AD Connect for Mainframe listener started task abended when
retrieving a CICS CSD file, and the connection to Build Client
was broken.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • A section of code assumed that the AD comm area was present, but
 in this particular routine the assumption is not true.  The
code section is run before the pointer to the comm area is
retrieved.

The section of code was rewritten to remove all references to
fields in the comm area until the comm area address is retrieved
from the appropriate name-token pair.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix was included in AD Connect version 5109.
