PH29332: ABENDU0101 DURING TRANSLATION OF ASSEMBLER PROGRAM IN CICS TS 5.5

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrade to CICS TS v5.5, the customer encounter
  abendU0101 during the translation of a Assembler program. Their
  SDFHLOADs are not APF authorized, but they noticed usermod
  DFH$UMOD moved DFHEITAB and DFHEITBS to the SDFHLPA lib which
  is APF authorized.
  

Local fix

• Copy DFHEITAB and DFHEITBS to non-APF authorized dataset and
  concatenated in the steplib of the job
  

Problem summary

  During the translation of a program the CICS translator may be
  unable to access the DFHEITAB and DFHEITBS modules.
  This is because DFH$UMOD has moved the modules to the LPA
  which is authorised. This leads to the abendU0101.
  

Problem conclusion

• We have removed DFHEITAB and DFHEITBS from DFH$UMOD so these
  modules are not moved to the LPA.  They have also been removed
  from DFH$ULPA.
  
  CICS TS Knowledge Center will be updated to reflect that
  DFHEITAB and DFHEITBS modules are not LPA eligible.
