APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Filtering on a numeric attribute of a OLAP source, such as MSAS,
in a local filter of a visualisation, fails with
XQE-PLN-0020 "The V5 Query could not be planned by the Query
Service. The 'V5StringFunction' node is invalid for the OLAP
Transformation Library and the Query Service Planner is
currently not able to resolve it".

Local fix

  • Change the attribute to a string data type in the OLAP source.
