Error description

  • ABENDS0C4 occurs rebuilding a PSINDEX for HALDB OSAM LDS when
all the following conditions are met:
- "MAXTASKS 2" is specified to use the hierarchical HPU scan.
- The UPDATE option is specified in the PROC statement.
- All the HALDB OSAM database data sets of the partitions which
  are specified by the PARTNAME statement are OSAM LDS.
- Prime HALDB OSAM database has a deleted database dataset or
  there is a normal OSAM database data set in the partition
  which is NOT specified in the PARTNAME statement.

ABENDS0C4 occurs rebuilding a PSINDEX for HALDB OSAM LDS when
all the following conditions are met:
- "MAXTASKS 2" is specified to use the hierarchical HPU scan.

  are specified by the PARTNAME statement are OSAM LDS.

Problem conclusion


    

  • IMS Index Builder has been modified to prevent getting
information about a database data set which is not specified in
the PARTNAME statement.
