PH27492: TRANSFORMER FAILS WITH QE-DEF-0368 UNABLE TO DECRYPT USER NAME AND PASSWORD WHEN DATASOURCE COMPRISES A PREDEFINED SIGNON

Error description

• When a signon has been assigned to a datasource from Cognos
  connection,transforms fails to show data against that particular
  package created  off that datasource and fails with the
  exception QE-DEF-0368 Unable to decrypt user name and password .
  When the signon is removed from the Datasource connection from
  Cognos connection, Transformer prompts the user for user and
  password when the option 'Data Source Viewer' is clicked,  at
  which point Transformer is  able to show the data without any
  issue. If the signon is added back to the same datasource
  connection again, clicking on 'Data Source Viewer' will throw
  the same exception again QE-DEF-0368.
  

Local fix

• Remove the personal signon from the My Preferences-->Data Server
  credentials
  or
  Create a new signon under the Datasource connection and add the
  Everyone group or the individual user under the permissions for
  the particular signon
