PH27336: IIS_CONFIG.BAT SETS A HARDCODED HTTP URL FOR THE WEB FARM HEALTHCHECK WITH HTTPS DISPATCHERS, CAUSING 502 ERRORS

Error description

  • When using https dispatchers throughout a CA environment, the
IIS_Config.bat script sets a hardcoded http:// protocol in the
health check URL, which results in failures when testing the
Server Group, and 502 errors when attempting to use the gateway.

Local fix

  • - Open IIS Manager
- Expand Server Farms, and click on ca_servers
- Double-Click "Health Test"
- Click "Verify URL Test" - this should fail with all servers
being unavailable
- Click Close
- Change the URL: field to have a https:// prefix
- Click "Verify URL Test" - this should now report success
- Click "Close"
- Click "Apply"
- Test the Gateway URI
