Error description
The DSENQSHR=DISALLOW keyword in the M0 internal job, which is used to serialize the ONLINE CHANGE jobs, prevents the internal jobs of other OSC driver jobs from being submitted. When multiple OSC driver jobs are executed simultaneously in an IMSplex, the OSC internal job data set is used exclusively by one of the OSC driver jobs during its online change process, preventing other OSC internal jobs from being submitted by their OSC driver jobs.

Problem conclusion
This APAR provides a new ENQDSN keyword and OSC has been modified to use the new ENQ data set instead of the internal job data set for serializing the ONLINE CHANGE jobs. By this APAR, multiple ONLINE CHANGE jobs are serialized as same as before, but no longer prevent other OSC internal jobs to be submitted by their OSC driver jobs. ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== The IMS Fast Path Solution Pack for z/OS Version 2 Release 1 IMS High Performance Fast Path Utilities User's Guide (SC27-9536-00).
