PH25144: CHANGING VALUE OF PATH FOR THE RETRIEVED MEMBERS FIELD IN CCS RESULTS IN DELETION OF PROJECT FILES DURING SYNCHRONIZATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the value of the 'Path for the retrieved members' field in
  the IBM AD Configuration Server browser gui, under
  localhost:2181 >  Install Configurations > IBM Application
  Discovery Build Client  is changed after assets are added to
  Application Discovery projects, when a subsequent
  synchronization (e.g. using the gui option to synchronize in
  the Build Client, or using the /umm1 parameter of the
  IBMApplicationDiscoveryBuildClient.exe program) occurs on the
  projects, mainframe members that have been downloaded to the
  project are deleted.  The deletion of these mainframe member
  files in the project's Path for the retrieved members location
  causes the viewiing of source to fail when using Analyze Client.
  

Local fix

• Resetting the retrieval date for the mainframe members in the
  affected projects' repository databases and then performing
  another synchronization should resolve the issue.  Presently,
  you should contact IBM Support for IBM Application Discovery
  for further details if you experience this issue.

  immediately displayed in the DashBoard, informing the user about
   the impact of the change and what are the next steps to be
