    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A non CICS client sends in a global *
    * transaction identifier (XID) containing *
    * invalid data with a length exceeding *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Correct the client so that it sends in a *
    * global transaction identifier that conforms *
    * to the standard architecture for such items *
    ****************************************************************
Module DFHEIUOW may cause a storage violation when a non-CICS
JTA client sends an xOpen global transaction identifier that
does not conform to the architected standard.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been added to DFHEIOUW to restrict the amount of data
that can be returned on an EXEC CICS INQUIRE UOWLINK where the
    XID parameter is specified.
