APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When Db2 HPU allocates the DSNEXIT
    library (designated by the "Exit Library" field in the parameter
    set through the "CCQPDB2/DB2 Parameters" panel of Tools
    Customizer), it does not free it at the end of the process which
    might cause troubles with the allocation of the DSNEXIT library
    by subsequent processes.
    For example, in an OEM use case of Db2 HPU such, when DB2 HPU is
    called twice within the same run, Db2 HPU can fail after having
    issued the following message
    INZI145E ERROR: ALLOCATING THE DDNAME : DSNEXIT TO THE DSNAME :
    Db2.exit.library.set.in.CCQPDB2.panel.
    

Local fix

  • consider freeing the DSNEXIT library after Db2 HPU has completed
    and before any subsequent invocation of a new program.
