Error description

• several areas with the IVL eye-catcher and several others which
  contains the alerts buffers (CR) generated by the CRITICAL
  monitoring. Both are in Subpool2 key 8, which looks to be the
  one involved in the S878.

  Monitoring Alert buffers (CR buffers generated by Critical
  Monitoring) can get accumulated under specific conditions,
  causing in a long run an abend S878 due to end of available
  storage.
  

Problem conclusion

• Monitoring buffers (CR) were not freed in case of queuing
  errors detected (monitoring data collection active but target
  monitoring product not connected).
