  • When a logical or indexing related DBD is not found in IMS
    directory, IMS Administration Tool gets SYSTEM COMPLETION
    CODE=0C4 REASON CODE=00000004 at ATY$EXPD+X'25D4'.
    Related error messages are FABX0542E and ATY3308E.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the active ACB member of database  *
    *                      that is logically or index related to   *
    *                      the selected database is not found in   *
    *                      the IMS directory, IMS Administration   *
    *                      Tool gets SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=0C4    *
    *                      REASON CODE=00000004 at                 *
    *                      ATY$EXPD+X'25D4'.                       *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

    When Expand is selected in creating or updating object profile
    of the Run IMS Utilities function, IMS Administration Tool
    attempts to refer an active ACB of logically related or index
    related database in IMS directory data sets.
    However, when the ACB does not exist, IMS Administration Tool
    gets ABEND S0C4.
    
    SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=0C4 REASON CODE=00000004 at
    ATY$EXPD+X'25D4'.
    

Problem conclusion

  • IMS Administration Tool has been fixed to issue a new error
    message ATY3614E and stop processing of expand when the active
    ACB does not found in IMS directory data sets or ACB library.
