    ****************************************************************
When starting an OSGi application the bundles in the
application may be searched for resources. If the bundle does
not contain a bundle root, obtained by calling
    bundle.getResource("/"), then a NullPointerException occurs
    in the BundleBasedModuleClassLoader.translateURL method.

Problem conclusion

  • The Aries integration component in WebSphere Application
Server was modified to correctly process bundles with no
    bundle root.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix packs
8.5.5.20 and 9.0.5.8. For more information, see 'Recommended
