PH21484: POSSIBLE INCORRECT ALAA042E WHEN RUNNING ON DB2 V12 WITH SOME SPECIAL LOG RECORDS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a special split of log records was found during the log
  read process and SYSLGRNX was used to eliminate not needed
  logs, the product could process this special record
  incorrectly resulting in ALAA042E message.
  This situation can only occur in DB2 v12. This APAR corrects
  this situation.
  

Local fix

• Turn off SYSLGRNX processing by adding the 'X' to the MISC flags
  on the Generate Database Activity Report (General) panel or in
  the MODEPARM file.
  This way the split record will be combined correctly and
  skipped as it should be.
