  After migrating Android project from GCM to FCM by following the
  blog :
  https://mobilefirstplatform.ibmcloud.com/tutorials/en/foundation
  /8.0/notifications/handling-push-notifications/android/#migrate-
  to-fcm, an Android application built using the Xamarin SDK for
  MobileFirst will not be able to register for push notifications
  or
  receive push notifications. This is because the Xamarin SDK was
  not enabled for FCM notifications.

Problem conclusion

• FCM support for push notification in Xamarin SDK has been
  released. Update both IBM.MobileFirstPlatformFoundationpush and
  IBM.MobileFirstPlatformFoundation nuget packages to latest
  version.
