Error description

  • When the QUIESCE Db2 utility launched by Db2 HPU fails the
    following message are unduly issued :
    case 1) for a non partitioned table space: INZI164E ERROR WHEN
    TRYING TO QUIESCE THE dbname.tsname
    case 2) for a partitioned table space: INZI165E ERROR WHEN
    TRYING TO QUIESCE THE PARTITION(S) OF TABLESPACE dbname.tsname
    instead of the following expected messages
    case 1) INZI190E ERROR WHEN TRYING TO QUIESCE THE dbname.tsname
    case 2) INZI191E ERROR WHEN TRYING TO QUIESCE THE PARTITION(S)
    OF TABLESPACE dbname.tsname
    

Local fix

  • None, but this message numbering does not affect the correctness
    of the unload output.
