  • A query may end with sqlcode -904 and resource name -1656.

DSNT408I SQLCODE = -904, ERROR:  UNSUCCESSFUL EXECUTION CAUSED
BY AN UNAVAILABLE RESOURCE. REASON 00E7000E, TYPE OF RESOURCE
00001080, AND RESOURCE NAME -1656:
An error occurred while processing data.
DSNT418I SQLSTATE   = 57011 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE

SQL0901N  The SQL statement or command failed because of a
database system error.

Local fix

  • A full refresh of the affected table clears the issue.

Problem summary

  • The issue was resolved by a fix within the Db2wh engine. The
new Db2wh engine was included in IDAA V7 maintenance level
7.5.1. made available on April 22, 2020.

Problem conclusion

  • Upgrade your IDAA V7 maintenance level to 7.5.1 or higher.
