APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If there is Java exception issued by OSGI code, log is created
    in the file system with the name <number>.log. The default locat
    ions:
    WAS_HOME/configuration
    WAS_HOME/profiles/*/configuration
    WAS_HOME/profiles/*/servers/*/configuration
    
    However, these files are not being captured by the collector
    tool on z/OS.
    This is because ProfileRoot variable is null, so profile's
    configuration directories are not collected.

    PROFILE_HOME files not being collected by collector tool for
    z/OS systems. The ProfileRoot was being set as null, and the
    tool could not collect files under profile's configuration
    directories.
    

Problem conclusion

  • ProfileRoot is being set for z/OS systems and collector tool
    collects profile's configuration directories.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    9.0.5.4 and 8.5.5.18.  For more information, see 'Recommended
