Error description

  • When the Data Source package is changed for an existing
dashboard the filter Tab will display the old, no longer
existing, value while the dashboard is filtered on the new
values. This happens if dimensional data is used.

This is caused by the fact that the filter is saved in the
    dashboard spec as MUN.

Problem conclusion

  • The following note was added for 11.1 and 11.2 docs:
Important: If filter values in a dashboard change in the
underlying data source or you relink to another source with the
same structure but different data, then the dashboard
visualizations based on those filter values will return no data
since the data no longer exists in the source. However, the
chosen values will still be represented in the filter objects to
reflect what was originally chosen and will only disapear once
    you correct your filters.
