PH20386: CREATING REPORT AGAINST DATA MODULE BASED ON PA DATA SOURCE PARAMDISPLAYVALUE NOT RETRIEVING VALUE PROMPT DEFAULT SELECTIONS

Error description

• Creating report against Data Module based on PA data source and
  setting value prompt Default Selection expectation is for
  ParamDisplayValue to return Member Caption, instead
  ParamDisplayValue is returning MUN. This only occurs on first
  report run. On second report run ParamDisplayValue displays
  Member Caption for value prompt selection as expected.
  
  Workaround:
  
  After creating and saving report, in report properties set the
  prompt Current value.
  

Local fix

• After creating and saving report, browse to the report and in
  report properties under "Report" tab and set the report prompt
  "Current values" by clicking on "Set values" and selecting
  relevant prompt value.
