PH20257: NEW CM BATCH OPTION TO GENERATE COMPLETE READABLE JCL FROM WSL

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• Currently one can generate complete, readable JCL from a WSL via
  the ISPF panels by executing, for example, line command 'R' on
  panel ADB2W1, 'Work Statement List Library'.  However, one
  cannot do the same via CM Batch.  Although one can specify
  ACTION_CONVERT_TO_READ_WSL in a CM Batch job, the readable
  WSL cannot be used as input to an ADBTEP2 job.
  
  This fix offers a new CM Batch option which will
  generated complete JCL that the user can edit and submit
  via ADBTEP2.

  CM Batch has a new option, generate_jcl_from_wsl.
  Set this option to 'Y' to generate JCL from an
  existing WSL. You can also use this option in conjunction with
  action_compare = 'Y' and action_generate_wsl = 'Y', to generate
  JCL from a WSL that is generated in the same batch job.
