Error description

  • After migrating to CICS 5.5 some messages written to
    the CSMT log are incomplete.
    One byte is missing from the end of each message.
    You are using an XTDOUT global user exit to manipulate a TDQ
    message before writing to extrapartition transient data.
    The problem occurs because CICS is not recognizing that the
    XTDOUT GLUE has changed the field UEPTDLMD.

    A CICS XTDOUT Global User Exit changes the length of a
    Transient Data record and passes the new length to CICS
    using the parameter field UEPTDLMD.
    CICS ignores the modified UEPTDLMD value, and continues to
    use the original value.
