Error description

  • ICCF refers to the return and reason code of CSLOMCMD to check
whether an error occurred during IMS command processing and
to determine whether the IMS command can be re-tried.
If the following message with the given return and reason code
    occurs:
      CCF7426W - CSLOMCMD RECEIVED RC=0200000C RSN=00003008
ICCF doesn't always retry an IMS command even if the Command
Retry Option was specified. Then the following message occurs:
DFS140 12:11:13 CHECKPOINT IN PROGRESS, CANNOT PROCESS COMMAND
This APAR will correct this to have CCF retry the IMS command,
according to the Command Retry Options when this message is
    received.

    ****************************************************************
IMS Command Control Facility will not retry unsuccessful
commands even if Command Retry Options are specified when the
execution conditions and the result of CSLOMCMD call are the
    following combinations:

The execution conditions of IMS Command Control Facility:
    1. Option 3 (IMS OM) is selected in Command Routing Technique
Option of CCF IMS System Information.
    2. IMS commands are routed to a specific IMS system.
    3. IMS type-1 database commands (/DBD, /DBR, /STA, and /STO.
However, excluding /STA DB ACCESS=EX and ACCESS=UP in data
sharing environment) are issued using IMS Command Control
    Facility batch job.

    The result of CSLOMCMD call:
    1. Return code is X'0200000C'.
    2. Reason code is X'00003008'.
    3. Message from IMS is "DFS140 CHECKPOINT IN PROGRESS, CANNOT
    PROCESS COMMAND".
