• Dynamic length elementary items passed by reference on a CALL
  statement without the AS FIXED LENGTH phrase should have been
  disabled until full support for passing dynamic-length
  elementary items to COBOL programs is enabled

  The compiler failed to issue an error message for an
  unsupported use of dynamic-length elementary items.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler has been updated to generate the following error
  message:
  IGYPA3372-S   "DYNAMIC LENGTH" elementary item "ITEM-NAME" is
  not supported in this context.  The statement was discarded.
