  • Job Completion Checker does not work. Job stays in "Started"
state. MLOG shows the following message:
EQQW023E UNEXPECTED SUBSYSTEM REQUEST RETURN CODES
FOR JOB XXXXXXXX (&JOBNUM).

The problem occurs in a JES3 environment only. There is an
overlay of the initial part of the job number (JOB or J).

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Problem is due to a not initialized area, used for the jobid
prefix, specifically for JES3 submitted jobs.
