CICS TS has been updated to use a Liberty JVM server that is based on WebSphere Liberty Version 19.0.0.9. In addition, the following WebSphere Liberty APAR fixes have been incorporated into the CICS Liberty JVM server: - PH18751 Exceptions when using keystore id="defaultkeystore" after upgrading to fix pack 19.0.0.9 on z/OS. - PH16611 Multiple HTTP/2 DoS Vulnerabilities affect WebSphere Application Server Liberty In the 19.0.0.9 fix pack, the Liberty kernel is recompiled and can no longer run with Java SE 7. The JVM profile used to start Liberty should specify a JAVA_HOME value which points to a Java SDK of version 8 or higher. Additionally, to support customers using z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition version 3.0.24.0 or later, CICS has been updated to automatically add ZCEE_INSTALL_DIR/lib/native/zos to the JVM server SJSC_ZCEE_LIBPATH if ZCEE_INSTALL_DIR is specified. Without this change z/OS Connect will fail to start with a javax.servlet.ServletException. IBM is required to provide you with certain notices and other information regarding third party components, included by this APAR and obtained as part of IBM WebSphere Liberty 19.0.0.9.
