Error description

  • When enter CEDA ALTER, there is message "ALTER SUCCESSFUL"
displayed and the "LAST CHANGE" time will be updated, even no
modification is performed.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CEDA and DFHCSDUP update the            *
*                      Change Time in a CICS resource          *
*                      definition signature unnecessarily.     *
****************************************************************
A user enters CEDA or DFHCSDUP ALTER to change a CICS
resource definition, but does not specify any attributes
to alter.
CEDA or DFHCSDUP update the ChangeTime field in the resource
definition signature, even though no attributes have changed.
Additional keywords: DFHCSD CSD RDO CSDUP

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DFHAMPDF, DFHPUP and DFHCUALT have been changed to suppress
the update of a resource definition signature ChangeTime
if nothing has changed.
