After the maintenance for HTK APAR PH11848 is applied, HTK job can get ABEND0C1 with the following messages: IHC01043E Abend code is DBD IHC01000E No COPY1 RECON detected IHC01050E DD statement not found in JCL This problem occurs when HTK runs on z/OS version 2.2 or lower without the maintenance for DFSMS APAR OA50569 installed.

Problem conclusion
This APAR fixes the PE caused by HTK 1.1 APAR PH11848. The program has been modified so that it would try to obtain catalog information about encryption only when encryption is installed on the operating system.
