  • IMS Admin Tool ISPF sent a client request during TAS server
    initialization, but it hung up in the process of receiving
    a response because there was no response from DAI.

Problem summary

    Admin tool ISPF sent a client request during TAS server
    initialization, but it hung up in the process of receiving a
    response because there was no response from DAI. This event
    occurs not only with Admin tool ISPF but also with requests
    from other clients.
    TAS did not return any response to the client while keeping the
    request on the hold queue.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The DAI program has been modified to reject requests during TAS
    initialization and return an error response to the requesting
    client.

    Explanation: During the initialization job (job_name) of TAS,
    the TAS server received a request message from the client.
    System action: TAS rejects the request and returns an error
    response to the requesting client.
    User response: Ensure that TAS server initialization is
    complete, and then reenter the request.
