APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In IDz 14.1.7 the property view for VSAM files does not reflect
the correct file name

Recreation Steps:
1.  Select a vsam file and view the file properties in the
Properties View tab.
2.  Select another vsam file and view the content in the
Properties View tab.
3.  Go back to the original vsam file and view the content in
the Properties View tab and notice the file name is not correct.

Workaround:
None

Problem summary

  • The Properties view doesn't show the correct information for a
VSAM after chaning the selection.

Problem conclusion

  • When selecting a VSAM data set to display properties in the
Properties view and then changing the selection to another VSAM,
 the values shown are incorrect.
