* USERS AFFECTED: All z/OS Connect EE users.                   *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Only strings up to 32767 characters are *
*                      supported by z/OS Connect EE.           *
****************************************************************
This APAR only affects z/OS Connect EE users who have JSON or
YAML Swagger documents that contain large strings.  At
present only strings of up to 32767 characters in length are
supported.

  • This APAR makes changes which will enable z/OS Connect EE
users to process larger character strings.
A future z/OS Connect EE APAR will enable this functionality.
This APAR does not affect the functionality provided by CICS
Web Services support, which already supports larger character
strings within a container.
