Error description

  • Multiple row insert leads various issues:
1) User gets SQLCODE -254 and does not get diagnostics
2) There is no difference between atomic and non-atomic insert
3) Using CLI driver (10.5 PF8 and 11.1 FP3) the MRI to NULLABLE
column fails with SQLCODE -254; the aqt_trace shows:
AssertionFailedException: An assertion '( false )' failed.
Additional info: Invalid NULL indicator. Found: 0xFFFFFFFF

Problem summary


    

  • The issue descibed was fixed in the IDAA V7 accelerator server
The fix became part of IDAA V7 maintenance level 7.1.8.

  • Upgrade your IDAA V7 maintenance level to 7.1.8 or higher.
