  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After applying maintenance of APAR      *
  *                      PH09623, Image Copy function of IMS     *
  *                      compatible JCL terminates with ABEND    *
  *                      S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) when ABEND occurs in  *
  *                      its subtasks.                           *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  After applying maintenance of APAR PH09623, Image Copy function
  of IMS compatible JCL terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 )
  when ABEND occurs in its subtasks.
  
  By APAR PH09623, the control block update process has been added
  in the error handling routine of subtask. However, the control
  block is not generated when IMS HP Image Copy is scheduled by
  IMS compatible JCL. As the result, the error routine can not
  fetch it and ABEND S0C4 occurs when some of user ABAEND is
  detected.
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS HP Image Copy has been modified not to refer the control
  block in the error handling routine when it scheduled by IMS
  compatible JCL.
