Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS HALDB Toolkit V1.1. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enables the batch functions * * of IMS HALDB Toolkit to run in * * the IMS-managed ACBs environment. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR enables the following batch functions of IMS HALDB Toolkit to run in the IMS-managed ACBs environment. Batch functions - ANALYZEPART, MAINTAIN, CHECK, BACKUPDBRC, COPYDBRC, REORGIND, IHCUSPLT, RESETILK, PTRHEAL, IHCUAPI, PSEXIT, IHCUDFSH, HALDBCOPY In addition, the following fixes have been applied in this APAR. The fixes are effective when the IMS management of ACBs is enabled. The fixes are also effective when the IMS management of ACBs is NOT enabled. - When ANALYZEPART or CONVERT or MAINTAIN or RESETILK command is specified in IHCSYSIN, HTK allocates HSSRSTAT, HSSRTRAC and HSSRSNAP DD internally if these DDs are not specified. - When ANALYZEPART or CONVERT or MAINTAIN or RESETILK command is specified except ANALYZEPART READINT(N) parameter in IHCSYSIN, HTK calls HP Unload with ULU instead of DLI. - When ANALYZEPART(for HALDB) or MAINTAIN command is specified except ANALYZEPART READINT(N) parameter in IHCSYSIN and when not all partitions are specified in PARTLIST or PARTITION parameter, HTK does not create DFSHALDB DD. - When MAINTAIN command is specified in IHCSYSIN, HP Load initializes the partitions instead of DFSUPNT0. - When CONVERT or MAINTAIN or BACKUPDBRC or COPYDBRC command is specified in IHCSYSIN, the timestamp of NOTIFY.REORG/NOTIFY.IC has been expanded from hh:mm:ss.t to hh:mm:ss.thmij (4 digits). ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== The following documentations are changed.
