This APAR fixes the following issues of DAI. 1). The TCP listening port number is not displayed correctly in AIILOG. 2). An unnecessary character string is included in the user control information received by the XCF member. 3). There is a shortage of DAI TCP information to deliver to the client application.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Distributed Access Infrastructure. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR resolves the following * * issues of DAI. * * - The TCP listening port number is not * * displayed correctly in AIILOG. * * - An unnecessary character string is * * included in the user control * * information received by the XCF * * member. * * - There is a shortage of DAI TCP * * information delivered to the client * * application. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR resolves the following issues of Distributed Access Infrastructure. - If the TCP listening port number is 32K or more, it is not displayed correctly in AIILOG. - An unnecessary character string is included in the user control information received by the XCF member because the sender of the XCF message has not correctly initialized the user control information. - The DAI TCP information delivered to the client application does not contain all the information specified in the configuration parameters.
Problem conclusion
The DAI modules have been modified as follows: - Even if the TCP listening port number is 32K or more, it is displayed correctly in AIILOG. - An unnecessary character string is not included in the user control information received by the XCF member. - DAI provides a new internal command. The client application can use it to obtain DAI TCP information including the information specified in the configuration parameters.
